Hi Tim, May I know if you have any idea about cost effective way to user? I got a question I faced in Tableau CGC and I have totally no idea.
Question: Customer has internal users currently and Tableau Customer wants to publish analysis on public site. Dashboard have approx. 5000 rows and does not refresh frequently.
Which is the best/cost saving for customer?
a. Tableau Public
b. Tableau Embedded Analytics
c. Tableau License per core
d. Tableau License per user

If the data is public then Tableau public is perfectly fine. Just be sure to treat the data as public data. During Covid 19 crisis, as an example alot of organisations were publishing to Tableau public as a way of sharing dashboards.
If however you do want to be able to control the security a little more then you'll need se rver/online. It sounds like you don't want to spend money on server hardware so go for the managed solution tableau online and for this its a all user basedit's. No core licensing here.
